Today, July 3, 2026, the Head of the Republic of Adygea met with trade representatives of the Russian Federation who work in the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Cuba, and the Kingdom of Spain. They came to Adygea as part of the "Weeks of Trade Representatives" program under the national project "International Cooperation and Export." Events are planned with our producers to discuss the development of exports to these countries.
Despite external challenges and sanctions pressure, Adygea's economy demonstrates steady growth. The Republic is among the leaders in the Southern Federal District in terms of investment growth in fixed capital. Great prospects are associated with the development of tourism. One of the key projects is also the Enem Industrial Park, where enterprises already operate, some of which are focused on exports.
More and more of our entrepreneurs are entering foreign markets. Food products, engineering products, household chemicals, wood products, and other goods are being exported abroad. Production volumes of sunflower oil, Adygei cheese, juices, baby food, and other products have increased. At the same time, the goods and services of the republic's entrepreneurs are of high quality and in demand in foreign markets. Key partners include Turkey and Abkhazia. Adygea's products are also imported into Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and other countries.
State support plays a significant role in the development of this direction.
"I thank the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Russian Export Center for systematic assistance to regions in strengthening foreign economic relations. A special role in this work belongs to Russia's trade representatives. It is they who help regions find new partners, open promising markets, and build effective logistics.
Adygea is open for cooperation. We are ready to offer investors modern facilities, comfortable conditions for doing business, and promising projects. We will continue to strengthen economic ties with reliable partners in Russia and create new opportunities for the development of our republic. I am confident that joint work with trade representatives, with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the United Russia party, will strengthen economic and friendly ties with a number of countries," noted the Head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov.
