Putin instructed to remove excessive barriers for business

PRIME. President of the Russian Federation V. Putin instructed the Government of the Russian Federation to remove excessive administrative barriers for the operation of domestic businesses.

At the VTB investment forum "Russia is Calling!", he called for clearer prioritization of support measures provided to industries from the federal budget, as well as continued fine-tuning of the regulatory framework.

Putin also urged attention to the debt burden on businesses. According to him, it has increased recently.

In addition, he promised to discuss with colleagues from BRICS the idea of creating a special platform to support small and medium-sized enterprises. This proposal was brought to him by one of the participants of the forum's plenary session.

«... I will ask colleagues who analyze the situation on key areas of cooperation within BRICS, and we will definitely draw the attention of our Brazilian colleagues to this, as they will chair BRICS starting next year,» said **V.V. Putin.
