PRIME. Russian President V. Putin instructed the Government of the Russian Federation to remove excessive administrative barriers to the work of domestic businesses.

At the VTB investment forum "Russia Calling!", he called for more clearly prioritizing the support measures provided to industries from the federal budget, as well as continuing to fine-tune the regulatory framework.

Putin also urged attention to the debt burden on businesses. According to him, it has increased recently.

In addition, he promised to discuss with his BRICS colleagues the idea of creating a special platform to support small and medium-sized enterprises. This proposal was brought to him by one of the participants of the forum's plenary session.

"...I will ask my colleagues who analyze the situation within BRICS in the main areas of cooperation, and we will definitely draw the attention of our Brazilian colleagues to this, since they will chair BRICS starting next year," said **V.V. Putin.
