The Russian Export Center (REC, part of VEB.RF) has introduced a new free online service for exporters — "Export Contract Builder". This tool is designed to significantly simplify the preparation of foreign trade agreements, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), reducing legal risks and saving time and resources.
The "Export Contract Builder" allows users to obtain a ready-made pre-filled draft contract in just a few minutes, taking into account the individual characteristics of the deal. The exporter specifies the necessary parameters: the subject of the contract, product characteristics, terms of delivery, rights and obligations of the parties according to INCOTERMS, payment procedures, and other important details, and the system automatically generates a legally valid document. The contract can be drafted in two languages (Russian and English), which is especially relevant for international cooperation.
"The Export Contract Builder is not just a template, but a flexible tool that can be adapted to the specifics of each deal, for both goods and services. It allows exporters to focus on business development without delving into legal intricacies," — clarified REC Vice President Alexey Solodov.
The "Export Contract Builder" will be particularly relevant for those facing difficulties in drafting foreign trade contracts:
Beginner exporters: the "Builder" will help them confidently start working in the international market, avoiding common mistakes;
Enterprises without legal support: the service will provide the necessary level of legal elaboration of the contract;
Companies unfamiliar with foreign economic activity terms: the intuitive interface and reference information will help understand complex aspects of foreign trade activity.
