The functioning of the infrastructure supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the region was discussed at a planning meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Adygea, held by the Head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov.
The main report was presented by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Adygea, Zaur Sheudzhen. According to the speaker, as of today, 17.2 thousand small and medium-sized business entities operate in the Republic of Adygea, and their number has increased by 1.5 thousand over the past 2.5 years. The SME sector provides employment for 43% of the total number of people employed in the region's economy. The contribution of SMEs to the GRP, according to 2022 data, amounts to 54.4 billion rubles, or 27.6% of the total volume of 197.1 billion rubles.
State support for business in Adygea grows annually. If in 2022 its volume was 150 million rubles, then in 2023 it already amounted to 318 million rubles. The main instrument for promoting the development of the small and medium-sized business sector in the region remains the implementation of the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Support for Entrepreneurial Initiative."
The republic has all the nationwide measures of state support for business in place, as well as a number of regional incentives. The SME support infrastructure includes the 'My Business' Center, the Export Support Center, the Microcredit Company, the Guarantee Fund, and the Business Incubator. In total, in 2023, these organizations provided 3.3 thousand services, and in the first half of 2024 — about 1.5 thousand services, ranging from business plan development to the issuance of preferential loans and assistance in product promotion.
The Head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, emphasized that the entire range of state support should work cohesively, as a single mechanism.
