The Head of Adygea, Murad Kumpilov, participated via video conference in a meeting chaired by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov. The agenda included issues related to the implementation of individual socio-economic development programs (ISDPs) of the regions and the approval of new ISDPs until 2030.
During the discussion of the results of the implementation of the ISDP of the Republic of Adygea until 2024, the region received a positive assessment. The region was able to effectively use program funds, as a result of which in recent years the growth rates of the republic’s economic indicators were twice as high as the national average. A positive demographic situation and the absence of pressure on labor resources were also noted.
Murad Kumpilov emphasized that, thanks to the decision of the President of Russia, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, five years ago, Adygea received an additional powerful support tool by becoming a participant in the ISDP.
Program funds in Adygea were used to address longstanding and problematic infrastructure issues in the social sphere: healthcare, culture, and sports institutions were brought in order; supporting infrastructure was created for land plots for large families and for the currently being developed large industrial park “Enem.” Funds were also used for the reconstruction of a gas distribution station and roads in the mountainous area, and the right and left banks of the Belaya River in Maykop were strengthened. Through the program, small and medium-sized businesses were supported, and agricultural producers’ costs for purchasing agricultural machinery were reimbursed.
During the meeting, the Head of the Republic of Adygea presented the project of the new Individual Development Program of the Republic of Adygea. It is planned for 2025–2030 with a total financing volume from the federal budget of 6 billion rubles.
