The Head of Adygea, Murad Kumpilov, participated via videoconference in a meeting chaired by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Maxim Reshetnikov. The agenda included issues related to the implementation of individual socio-economic development programs (ISDPs) of the regions and the approval of new ISDPs up to 2030.
During the discussion of the results of implementing the ISDP of the Republic of Adygea up to 2024, the region received a positive assessment. The region successfully utilized program funds, which in recent years led to economic growth rates in the republic being twice as high as the national average. A positive demographic situation and no pressure on labor resources were also noted.
Murad Kumpilov emphasized that, thanks to the decision of the President of Russia, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, five years ago, Adygea received an additional powerful support tool by becoming a participant in the ISDP.
Program funds in Adygea were used to address long-standing and problematic infrastructure issues in the social sphere: healthcare, cultural, and sports institutions were brought in order; infrastructure was created to support land plots for large families and for the newly developing large industrial park “Enem.” Funds were also used for the reconstruction of a gas distribution station and a mountain road, and the right and left banks of the Belaya River in Maykop were strengthened. The program supported small and medium-sized businesses and compensated agricultural producers for the purchase of agricultural equipment.
During the meeting, the Head of the Republic of Adygea presented a draft of the new Individual Development Program of the Republic of Adygea. It is planned for 2025–2030, with a total federal budget funding of 6 billion rubles.
