TASS/. The Russian government has increased from 200 million rubles to 600 million rubles the maximum annual amount of subsidies for preferential loans issued to enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) for the production of civilian products.

The decision made will provide additional support to defense industry organizations implementing projects in priority areas of the civilian industry.

We are talking about the production of ships, helicopters and airplanes, machinery and equipment, including for sorting municipal solid waste, as well as locomotives, vehicles, metallurgical and chemical products.

The program of concessional lending to defense industry organizations was launched in 2018 to provide such enterprises with long-term financing as part of the diversification of production. Loans for the entire period of the project are provided by the State Development Corporation VEB.RF.

The minimum loan amount is 500 million rubles, the rate is from 5% per annum. Companies planning projects with a budget of 1 billion rubles or more can count on such conditions.
