According to Krasnodarstat, the Republic of Adygea has seen significant growth in industrial production from January to May of this year. Statistics show that, compared to the same period last year, this indicator increased by 12%.

At the same time, the industrial production index was 111.7%.

The largest contribution to the positive trend came from the manufacturing sector, which showed growth of 13.3%. In particular, the volume of production in the republic's food processing industry increased by 12.2%.

At the same time, Krasnodarstat noted an 8.6% increase in the extraction of minerals in Adygea.

Meanwhile, the biggest increase in output was seen in the food industry. Rice production increased 6.6 times, fresh, cooled, or chilled pork — 2.6 times, oilcakes and other solid residues of vegetable fats and oils — 2.5 times, and frozen vegetables and mushrooms — twice. Juice production from fruits and vegetables rose by 98%.

The production of flour and cereal products increased 5.1 times, oils and fats — 2.7 times, rubber and plastic products — by 91.8%, and beverages — by 43.0%.

In the fruit and vegetable processing and canning sector, growth in the region was 35.6%.
