According to Krasnodarstat, the Republic of Adygea has seen a significant increase in industrial production from January to May of this year. According to statistics, compared to the same period last year, this indicator increased by 12%.

At the same time, the industrial production index amounted to 111.7%.

The largest contribution to ensuring positive dynamics came from the manufacturing sector, which showed a growth of 13.3%. In particular, the volumes of food processing industry production in the republic increased by 12.2%.

At the same time, Krasnodarstat also noted an 8.6% increase in the mineral extraction sector in Adygea.

Meanwhile, the greatest increase in output was shown by the food industry. Rice production increased 6.6 times, fresh, cooled, or chilled pork — 2.6 times, oilcakes and other solid residues of vegetable fats and oils — 2.5 times, and frozen vegetables and mushrooms — twice. Fruit and vegetable juice production increased by 98%.

Production of flour and cereal industry products increased 5.1 times, oils and fats — 2.7 times, rubber and plastic products — 91.8%, beverages — 43.0%.

In the field of fruit and vegetable processing and canning, the regional growth amounted to 35.6%.
