According to Krasnodarst statistic, the Republic of Adygea has seen a significant increase in industrial production from January to May of this year. According to statistics, compared to the same period last year, this indicator increased by 12%. The industrial production index stood at 111.7%. The greatest contribution to ensuring positive dynamics came from the manufacturing sector, which showed a growth of 13.3%. In particular, the volume of production in the food processing industry of the republic increased by 12.2%. At the same time, Krasnodarst statistic noted an increase of 8.6% in the extraction of mineral resources in Adygea. Meanwhile, the largest increase in production was shown by the food industry. Rice production increased 6.6 times, pork (fresh, cooled or chilled) by 2.6 times, cake and other solid residues of vegetable fats and oils by 2.5 times, and frozen vegetables and mushrooms doubled. The volume of fruit and vegetable juice production increased by 98%. The production of flour and grain industry products increased 5.1 times, oils and fats by 2.7 times, rubber and plastic products by 91.8%, and beverages by 43.0%. In the field of processing and preserving fruits and vegetables, the growth for the region was 35.6%.
